![]() ![]() ![]() Okay so i'm in the edit tab in Davinci Resolve and i have this project here open up with several media assets offline which you can see in the media pool here in red and these offline files also show in red on my timeline here this is how easy it is to relink your media go up to the top left here and click on this little link icon which will bring up the relink media window here it will let you know how many missing clips you have and you can then click locate find the folder or location of those missing files on your computer or hard drive and choose select folder and now your media is relinked i'll just show you this as well so another more time consuming option you can try if you have offline media is again i'll click on this little link icon and you can choose disk search which will search everywhere on your computer or hard drive for that file. Have you ever seen this show up when you open up a project in DaVinci Resolve media offline what the heck is that well don't worry there's a super quick and easy way to relink your media that i'll show you real soon first it's good to know why your media might be offline this usually happens if you've moved the location of the files that are offline like if you have files imported into DaVinci Resolve and outside of your project where the original source file lived you moved the location of it or if you deleted the file by accident or if you renamed to file if you do any of those things your media will go offline in this video i'll show you a super quick and easy way to re-link offline media let's hop into DaVinci and check out how to do this. ![]()
